As you need to create a comprehensive guide that will help you revise when it comes to exam time I would like you to create a reading journal. Each chapter of every novel we read needs to be covered.

Make sure you comment upon the following;

• Themes
• Characters
• Plot development
• How the writer conveys their meaning
• Imagery
• Structure
• Anything interesting or different that strikes you about the chapter.
• Your own thoughts and reflections.
• A brief summary of the chapter.
